Cant Espiritual
Cant Espiritual , the most important poem by Ausiàs March (1400-1459), is a delirious, complex prayer, full of passion and sincerity, where the poet openly shows his weaknesses.
Carles Dénia brings March's verses to the 21st century, with touches of jazz, flamenco, Mediterranean music ... and a lot, a lot of rhythm. Free music, with the sole intention of being as absolutely visceral, and multifaceted as Ausiàs March's poem itself.
Carles Dénia is accompanied by 6 successful musicians and the show has a theatrical side by including dance by the Mexican dancer Karen Lugo. The lighting is designed by Ximo Rojo.
The show, which lasts 80 minutes, is pure passion.

“ It is difficult to express in words what Dénia has achieved with the Ausiàs March Spiritual Song ... The set of traditions gathered in this album ((flamenco, traditional Valencian singing, Sufi music, African cadences ...) it's an impregnable sound strength "
